The Cleveland Indians placed utility man Zach Walters on the disabled list yesterday, ending his Triple-A season in the process. Walters, 26, is in the midst of a hot streak and is a big part of the Columbus Clippers’ push for the Championship. On the whole, he has batted to the tune of a .310 on-base percentage with a characteristically low batting average. Interestingly enough, his power output is significantly lower than what he has shown in the past, although a .167 isolated power, the difference between slugging percentage and batting average, is still above average.
