Clevelinks: Cleveland Indians Designate Carlos Moncrief; Kluber Injured

The Cleveland Indians designated outfielder Carlos Moncrief for assignment yesterday, according to Jordan Bastian of MLB.com. Moncrief became the odd man out when the team needed to create space on the 40-man roster for Michael Martinez and Giovanni Soto. To finalize the roster moves, the team transferred lefty T.J. House to the 60-day disabled list.

Moncrief, 26, is a former 14th round pick of the Tribe and currently roams the outfield for Triple-A Columbus, although he spent his first two seasons in the system pitching in rookie ball.
