CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Zach Walters was released from the hospital after he was involved in a car accident in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
An Indians spokesperson said Walters "is home and is in good spirits" and that "everything to this point has checked out fine," and that the team will continue to monitor his situation.
Walters posted several photos to his Instagram and Twitter accounts, two of his damaged vehicle and one that shows him wearing a neck brace.
Walters, who resides in Las Vegas during the offseason, included the caption: KIDS: this is why you always wear your seatbelt.
