Cleveland Indians Ride Another Solid Start from Anderson to Win Over Rays

I’m not sure why all the other potential number five starters for the Cleveland Indians struggled so much. Clearly this pitching thing isn’t that hard, at least if you’re watching Cody Anderson that’s what you would think. He took a perfect game into the eighth before Grady Sizemore ended the bid with a solo home run, but the Tribe rolled to a 7-1 victory behind the rookie.

The Indians (34-41) struck early on, scoring on a Jeff Brantley single in the first to score Jason Kipnis to fire the opening salvo.
