BALTIMORE - The Indians will play a two-game regular season series against the Twins in Puerto Rico in 2018.
The series will be played at Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan on April 17 and April 18. The Twins will be the home team.
The Indians have played exhibition games in Puerto Rico, but never a regular season game. It will be the first regular season game they've played outside of the United States and Canada.
"It's going to be a lot of fun," said shortstop Francisco Lindor, a Puerto Rican native. "It's going to be a dream come true and I'm looking forward to doing it.
