CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Jason Kipnis kicked on the afterburners and Corey Kluber rebounded nicely from his worst start of the season Tuesday night at Progressive Field. More importantly, the Indians kept winning.
Kipnis circled the bases in a couple of heartbeats on a single and three-base error and Kluber threw a three-hit shutout as the Indians beat battered Rays, 6-0, for their fifth straight victory.
The Indians, 14-6 in June following a 16-13 May, have won 14 of their last 20 games. As much winning as they've done, they still can't shake Kansas City in the AL Central.
