CLEVELAND, Ohio - Two Cleveland Indians catching prospects are off to good starts at the plate for the Class A Lake County Captains. Li-Jen Chu leads Captains regulars with a .298 average and Logan Ice is next at .273.
Ice, 21, is in just his second professional season. He hit .198 in 39 games at Mahoning Valley last season.
Ice has had three multi-hit games in his last 10. In 23 games and 77 at bats, he has 21 hits, including four doubles and two homers. He has 10 RBI, 15 walks and 18 strikeouts.
