SAN DIEGO, California — A Canadian singing group is blaming one member for changing the lyrics and holding a sign saying "All Lives Matter" as they sang Canada's national anthem before Tuesday's Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
Three members of the group, called the Tenors, released a statement during the game saying a fourth member, Remigio Pereira, altered the lyrics and held up the sign while they wordlessly harmonized, the Associated Press reports.
Pereira has been removed from the group "until further notice," the statement says.
This is the moment a Canadian Tenors' member sang "all lives matter" during #MLBAllStarGame.
