ALTOONA, Pennsylvania -- Wyatt Mathisen hit an RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the 10th, giving the Curve a 5-4 victory Tuesday over the Akron RubberDucks.
It was the fourth straight loss for the RubberDucks, who now trail the first-place Curve by five games in the Class AA Eastern League's Western Division.
The RubberDucks rallied in the ninth inning to send the game to extra innings. Trailing, 4-2, designated hitter Eric Haase led off with a solo shot to left-center field.
With one out, shortstop Yu-Cheng Chang hit a homer to left field to tie the game.
