Adam Plutko has another strong start in return to Triple-A

Box Score · Clippers fall to 15-16

Another strong start by a Columbus pitcher was wasted as the Clippers were shut out for the second day in a row.

The Clippers managed just two hits, both of them doubles by Eric Stamets who went 2-3.

In his return to Triple-A, Adam Plutko was brilliant, taking a shutout into the eighth inning before being pulled with two runners on base. Reliever Ben Taylor then promptly allowed a three-run home run to the first batter he faced, which was the only score of the game.
