Why The Cavs Will End The Cleveland Drought & Win The 2016 NBA Title

The Cleveland Cavaliers have rolled through the playoffs to this point, and are poised to earn their second straight trip to the Finals with one more victory over the Raptors. Many expect them to be underdogs whether they face the Thunder or have a rematch with the Warriors, but we know better. Here are three reasons why the Cavs will end Cleveland's long championship drought and win the NBA title:

3) Three-point shooting

Cleveland has turned into a three-point shooting juggernaut during the playoffs, making more threes in the first two rounds that almost any other team in NBA history has made - in an entire postseason. It's been the biggest reason behind their surge, and makes them virtually unguardable.

2) LeBron James

Let us also not forget how legendary LeBron's performance in the Finals was last year. Andre Iguodala, Draymond Green and the Warriors simply had no answer as he gashed them to the tune of 35.8 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game. Throw in the fact that he's extra motivated to prove he's the best player in the league instead of Curry, and we should expect another superhuman performance from the King.

1) Full roster

LeBron had to carry the Cavs without Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love in the Finals last year, and Cleveland still nearly had enough to pull off the upset - they simply just ran out of steam. This year, not only will the whole Big 3 be in tact, but the Cavs have a much deeper roster. Irving and Love will make all the difference.
