This latest incident with Jon Bones Jones continues to prove that legends and all-time greats in sports aren’t guaranteed to be heroes’, no matter how good their competitive careers are. Simply put, no matter how good they are between the lines, one screw up off the court, field, etc can screw it all up.
Here below are just a few off the top off my head that had the chance to be known as the greatest in their sport, but their legacies will forever be tainted from actions elsewhere. I even added a few that were young up and comers until they got derailed as well with stupid decisions.
