CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Golden State Warriors are going strong for Game 1 of the NBA Finals, rolling out a platinum-selling rocker to sing the national anthem.
Representatives for the team and Oracle Arena announced Wednesday that Pat Monahan, lead singer for the band Train, will do the honors for tonight's game. Train is from the Bay Area and will no doubt be supporting the Warriors when Game 1 tips off at 9 p.m. on ABC.
No word yet on who will be singing the national anthem when the Cavs return home for Games 3 and 4.
