AKRON, Ohio – LeBron James and Michelle Obama didn't come to the University of Akron Wednesday for politicking.
That's not what James does now, at least for candidates, and at least since his very public, very passionate support of Barack Obama's first successful campaign for president in 2008.
But the visual of James and the first lady of the United States, two of the most popular Democrats in the country, on stage together at a college campus, in the fall, in a state like Ohio, where American presidential elections are often decided, was striking.
What would happen if, say, the Cavaliers superstar were more involved in politics?
