The Cleveland Cavaliers Should Consider Trading Cedi Osman

Cedi Osman is a great talent. He’s a 22-year-old, 6-foot-8 swingman that has been playing well in Turkey. The Cleveland Cavaliers, who own his rights, might be able to snag even a late lottery pick for him. This draft is deep, and the Cavaliers need players to contribute immediately.

The Cavaliers, who cut both DeAndre Liggins and Jordan McRae to make room for players like Dahntay Jones, have shown they are determined to win now. Osman doesn’t give me the “win-now” persona. He may take time. Letting him play with the Canton Charge for a while would be a good idea, but is this team and GM David Griffin really wanting to see his value wane?
