Report: Danny Green Signs 1-Year, $2M Cavaliers Contract After Buyout from Rockets

Danny Green is reportedly set to join the Cleveland Cavaliers for the stretch run this season.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported Green signed a contract with the Cavaliers on Sunday after a buyout from the Houston Rockets. Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported the contract is for one year and $2 million.

Earlier in the day, Wojnarowski spoke to Green's agent, Raymond Brothers, who said his client was nearing a deal with the Cavs.

Wojnarowski noted the Cavs will offer Green a "significant opportunity" to make an impact for them as they continue to chase a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
