Forgive me. I’m not going to be able to do this game justice. Due to scheduling constraints, this triple overtime masterpiece, which was one of the viewing highlights of the Cavs’ season will have to do with an abbreviated recap. This game was a peach: a 63 minute slug fest between two hungry squads that featured plenty of mistakes, but even more bravado, effort, and shotmaking. In the end, despite surviving regulation and two OTs, the Cavs couldn’t survive D’Angelo Russell‘s 24 points in three overtimes, and were too exhausted to do more than let Jordan Clarkson go YOLO for the entire third overtime and eventually the Cavs couldn’t string togetherenough stops and scores to keep up.
