There is a grit and grind button. J.B. Bickerstaff keeps it in his front pocket. Unfortunately for Bickerstaff, that button has a meter; he depleted it in the first half of the game tonight. And, winning without that button just wasn’t happening as the teams’ point guard woes compounded with Dante Exum leaving the court on a non-contact injury less than a minute after tip-off. Right now, the news is that it’s just a right calf strain.
The team was already dealing with a depleted line up trotting out Damyean Dotson, Collin Sexton, Andre Drummond, and Larry Nance Jr.
