Quinn Cook expected to sign 10-day contract with Dallas Mavericks; Canton Charge acquire Cameron Jones

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- With Quinn Cook reportedly set to sign a 10-day contract with the Dallas Mavericks this weekend, the Cleveland Cavaliers' D-League affiliate Canton Charge made a trade Saturday night to help fill the void.

The Charge acquired guard Cameron Jones and a fourth round NBA D-League Draft pick from the Santa Cruz Warriors in exchange for the rights to Jordan Morgan and Juvonte Reddic as well as the Sioux Falls' 2017 third-round pick.

Cook, a two-time D-League All-Star and the game's MVP this year, is averaging 26.1 points and 6.7 assists per game.

The Mavericks obviously have an opening at point guard after waiving veteran Deron Williams, who agreed to join the Cavaliers after clearing waivers Saturday evening.
