CLEVELAND, Ohio -- President Donald J. Trump questioned LeBron James' intelligence in a Tweet late Friday night, taking a shot for the first time at the former Cavaliers superstar and constant Trump critic.
"Lebron (sic) James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon," Trump tweeted, referring to an interview James gave to CNN's Lemon on Tuesday in conjunction with the opening of James' I Promise School for disadvantaged Akron youths.
"He made Lebron (sic) look smart, which isn't easy to do," Trump continued. "I like Mike!"
Both James and Lemon are African-Americans.
