Ohio Lottery Winning Time: Miracle Man

Through their history, the Cavaliers have made some unforgettable game-winning shots. Damon Jones’ overtime dagger from the corner to close out the Wizards in 2006. Boobie’s barrage in the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals. LeBron’s buzzer-beater over the Magic in Game 2 at The Q.

For many younger Cavalier fans, the “Miracle of Richfield” lives only in folklore. But in that series, the Cavaliers hit THREE game-winning shots in the closing moments to upset the Hall of Fame-heavy Washington Bullets in Cleveland’s first-ever trip to the postseason in 1976.

In Game 2, Bingo Smith evened the series – canning a 19-footer to give the Wine and Gold an 80-79 win in the nation’s capital.
