CLEVELAND, Ohio - Sneakerheads who want LeBron James' latest signature shoe before anyone else will have to pay top dollar for it.
Nike has released 23 pairs of the LeBron 14 on StockX, an online resale site for sneakers co-founded by Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert. The move came by surprise this past Friday.
StockX has been dubbed the "stock market for sneakers" where prices for collectable kicks go up and down depending on their demand. Gilbert created StockX with Josh Luber, the man behind the data-driven sneaker industry site Campless.
