Matthew Dellavedova will skip pregame coffee routine after battling cramps, dehydration

CLEVELAND: Matthew Dellavedova will rely on more homeopathic measures to get ready for Thursday’s Game 4 of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors. He’s skipping his pregame coffee in favor of good, old-fashioned adrenaline.

“It’s not a good thing probably for your hydration,” Dellavedova said. “I think having 20,000 screaming fans is probably a little stronger than a cup of coffee.”

The Cavs have spent the last couple of days preparing Dellavedova after he cramped up during Game 3 and had to be admitted to the Cleveland Clinic for dehydration. Delly has been avid pregame coffee drinker, but that has been tabled for now.
