INDEPENDENCE: LeBron James has often conceded how hard-headed he can be and hinted during the preseason he was willing to ease off this season, but apparently that doesn’t apply to games played.
Asked how many games he wants to play in this season, James never hesitated: “82.” Asked if that was realistic, he said yes.
James has never played in all 82 games in any of his 12 seasons. He has been fighting a sore back and needed an injection a couple of weeks ago.
“I didn’t feel that great,” following a back-to-back against the Bulls and Grizzlies, James said.
