LeBron James was honored at his championship celebration in his hometown on Thursday, June 23, by the city of Akron, as the native son now has a street named after him: King James Way.
Mayor Dan Horrigan announced Main Street will be renamed King James Way between Market and Exchange streets to honor LeBron.
It won’t be long before LeBron has a statue in Downtown Cleveland and/or Akron. It’s a matter of “when” not “if.”
