Kevin Love Won't Need Surgery on Hand Injury; Expected to Miss 8 Weeks

The Cleveland Cavaliers announced Friday that power forward Kevin Love will not require surgery on his fractured left hand.

According to the team, Love is expected to miss eight weeks after he undergoes a non-surgical treatment.

Love suffered the injury in the first quarter of Tuesday night's 125-114 loss to the Detroit Pistons.

"You hate to see anyone get injured at any time of the season, and now, we've got to rally the troops and we've got to have his back until he gets back," head coach Tyronn Lue said, according to WKYC's Matthew Florjancic.
