JR Smith says he knew the Cavs and Warriors were tied at the end of Game 1 regulation

OAKLAND, Calif.– The Cavaliers had just tied Game 1 of the NBA Finals with 4.6 seconds remaining as George Hill sunk a free throw.

His second shot, however, was a little off. With the game tied at 107, J.R. Smith got the offensive rebound and began to dribble the ball out.

Smith seemed to think the Cavs were already up, and as a result, the Cavs didn’t get a shot off at the end of regulation.

After the game, Smith claimed that he knew the score at the end of the fourth quarter as he corralled the offensive rebound.
