James Jones Says He Plans to Retire After 2017-18 NBA Season

Cleveland Cavaliers veteran forward James Jones told Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal on Friday that he will retire after the 2017-18 season.

It will be his 15th year in the league, which is a number that means a lot to him when he spoke to Lloyd: "I know playing 15 years is a number where I can look back and I can be like, 'I accomplished something.' Fourteen vs. 15 may not be much, but to be able to say I played 15 years, that’s enough for me to hang 'em up.
