CLEVELAND, Ohio - Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas may reconsider his statement referencing the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Monstars from the 1996 film Space Jam.
On Friday, the Cavs' resembled the Monstars in the film taking 130-86 win at Boston in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
"I believe in these guys," Thomas said Thursday. "We're not scared of Cleveland. They're not the Monstars. They're not on Space Jam."
The film starred NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan playing with the Looney Tunes characters against aliens that stole the talent from several NBA stars as Larry Johnson, Patrick Ewing, Shawn Bradley, Muggsy Bogues and Charles Barkley for a basketball game.
