How to avoid ticket scams at NBA Finals; advice for Cleveland Cavaliers fans

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- You know it's going to happen: There are going to be some Cavaliers fans who are so desperate to see one of the Finals games against the Warriors in person that they get suckered into buying counterfeit tickets.

It happens for just about every big sporting event or concert across the country. The Cavs vs. the Warriors for the third straight year is big.

But fans are urged to be skeptical of ticket sellers and take steps to protect themselves from con artists.

During last year's championship run, police made several arrests of people selling fake tickets to home games at Quicken Loans arena.
