In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, the Cavaliers wanted to show their great appreciation for the work done by educators every day. So the organization teamed up with Papa John’s Pizza to deliver lunch to hundreds of teachers across Northeast Ohio on Friday.
The Cavs returned to the schools of this year’s (2016-17) Head of the Class winners, partnering with Papa John’s to feed more than 400 teachers and staff at six local schools.
Head of the Class recognizes teachers in Northeast Ohio that make a difference in their students’ lives both inside and outside of the classroom, with a monthly winner chosen.
