Blatt said Thursday he “absolutely” intends to return as coach of the Cavaliers and has the organization’s backing after a 53-win season and trip to the NBA Finals.
Cavs General Manager David Griffin said the Cavs finished 33-3 with their lineup healthy and intact, reason enough to keep this group together. That includes the coach after the Cavs fired their coach following each of the last two seasons.
