INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- Remember the 2013-14 Miami Heat -- the team that was trying to win back-to-back-to-back NBA championships? I've had that vibe with this year's Cleveland Cavaliers in their quest to repeat.
Harken back to those LeBron James-led Heat:
They were fresh off a miraculous NBA Finals comeback, pushing open their coffin and rallying to stun the San Antonio Spurs. They had James and an immensely talented supporting cast featuring a few Hall-of-Famers. They had the championship DNA, a unique ability to rise in the biggest moments. Their coach, Erik Spoelstra, had shown his postseason chops, implementing brilliant game plans.
