Cleveland Cavaliers: Top 3 catch-and-shoot threats in 2019-20

Last season the Cleveland Cavaliers actually shot the three-point ball at a very good 35.5% clip which was good for 13th in the entire league (NBA.com). However, they only attempted 2388, which was 24th most in the league (NBA.com).

The Cavs were also last in the NBA in catch-and-shoot points last season (per Second Spectrum’s NBA tracking data).

A lack of three-point attempts was one of the main reasons the Cavaliers ranked 29th in scoring at 104.5 points per game according to NBA.com.

The Cavaliers should follow suit with the league’s top teams and it’s ever-growing infatuation with the three-point shot and attempt more this season.
