The Cleveland Cavaliers were absolutely dominant in the first half against the Washington Wizards as they held a 67-52 lead at the halftime whistle.
The Wizards went on a monster run in the third quarter after the Cavs had stretched the lead out to 21. They cut the Cavalier lead all the way to one before the Cavs stymied that run and stretched it back out to 10 with around five minutes to play.
The Cavs did an excellent job of weathering the monster barrage by the Wizards and left D.C. with a win and a 3-and-5 record.
