JaVale McGee was a nice acquisition by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Cleveland Cavaliers recently made a trade with the Los Angeles Lakers that sent Jordan Bell (who was waived by L.A. shortly thereafter) and Alfonzo McKinnie to the Lakers in return for JaVale McGee. The Cavaliers picking up a 2026 second-round pick was crucial in that, though.
McGee, who picked up his $4.2 million player option, could seemingly be a player that could be bought out before the end of the season, however, during his time with the Cavaliers, he could bring a lot to the team in reserve minutes.
