Cleveland Cavaliers have 'every expectation' to keep Collin Sexton

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- Put away those ESPN trade machines.

Despite the non-stop trade speculation that surrounds the Cleveland Cavaliers during this summer of paramount importance, general manager Koby Altman said the team intends to hang onto new addition Collin Sexton, the player they joyfully selected with the eighth pick in Thursday's NBA Draft.

"I think every expectation is to keep him," Altman said from Cleveland Clinic Courts early Friday morning. "I think we've gone through a long process this year of scouting him. Obviously he's a talented, talented point guard who can score, can get into the lane, he's athletic, he has upside.
