Cavs vs. Celtics: Does seeding matter for the NBA Playoffs?

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Home-court advantage in the Eastern Conference playoffs swung back Wednesday night to Cleveland. The Cavaliers' 114-91 win in Boston gave them a one-game lead on the Celtics — plus the head-to-head tiebreaker — with four games to go.

For the last month, the Cavaliers' play suggested they didn't care about the top seed. They were 7-10 in March, a stretch that began with a 103-99 loss in Boston. It continued with a much-maligned primetime loss to the Los Angeles Clippers in which the Cavs sat LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love.
