Smith on road
J.R. Smith, who suffered what the team called a "complex fracture" of his right thumb in a Dec. 21 game at Milwaukee, is back on the road with the Cavs.
Smith participated in Wednesday morning's shootaround and had no protection on the thumb. He has been a presence at home games of late, but wasn't included in the traveling party.
"Asked if it was good to have his close friend Smith back on the road, LeBron James said, "Absolutely.
