Cavs in a win-win scenario for 2018-2019

Following LeBron James‘ departure earlier this offseason, the Cleveland Cavaliers vowed to keep maintaining relevance among the NBA’s weaker Eastern Conference.

They kicked off that strategy with the drafting of Collin Sexton with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. Following that selection, they signed David Nwaba and traded for Sam Dekker. Meanwhile, they also gave Kevin Love an enormous four-year, $120 million extension.

They’ve making move to be better, and we all can applaud that.

With a roster far superior to James’ last exodus, the Cavs are shooting for the postseason this season, and with only the Hornets and Pistons in the way, it’s not a surefire thing but it does seem likely.
