According to multiple reports (and from the above visual proof provided by ESPN’s Cavs Reporter Dave McMenamin) the Cavs have signed point guard Toney Douglas to a training camp deal. He is at practice Monday. The team also waived forward/center Eric Moreland to make room for Douglas, who played with LeBron James in Miami during the 2013-14 season.
Per ESPN Stats & Information, Douglas has career averages of 7.8 points and 2.6 assists and is a 36 percent shooter from beyond the arc in seven seasons with New York, Houston, Sacramento, Golden State, Miami and New Orleans. In his last season with the Pelicans, he averaged 8.
