CLEVELAND: The Cavaliers are suddenly running low on left knees in their backcourt. The good news, at least, is that Iman Shumpert should be ready for the postseason. No one is sure yet Mo Williams’ fate.
Shumpert missed Monday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks and will miss Wednesday’s finale against the Detroit Pistons after he had his left knee drained over the weekend. He is expected to be ready for the start of the postseason next weekend.
“After talking to the staff today, they say he’s going to be great,” coach Tyronn Lue said. “Hopefully, the way things are going, everything is going to work out.
