Breaking: Cleveland Cavaliers trade Dwyane Wade to Miami Heat

This was more of Altman doing Wade a favor than the Cleveland Cavaliers actually gaining any return for Wade. Wade, who averaged 11.2 points per game, the lowest of his career, will get to finish his phenomenal career with his long-term team, the Miami Heat.

Adrian Wojnarowski first broke the report.

As Cleveland remade its roster with young, athletic wing players, organization gave him a chance to return home to Miami and worked out a deal to send him back to the Heat, league sources tell ESPN.
