The Cleveland Cavaliers are riding a five-game win streak into the new year, and they don't appear to be slowing down anytime soon. Let's get you up to speed with the week that was and the week ahead with our Cavs Weekly update:

Last Week:

Cleveland then got 2016 started with two blowout home wins, knocking off the Orlando Magic on Jan. 2 by a final score of 104-79 and the Toronto Raptors 122-100 on Jan. 4. The Cavs then kicked off a six-game road trip on Wednesday, pulling out a hard-fought 121-115 win over the Washington Wizards.

What's Next?

Cleveland continues their road trip tonight in Minnesota against Timberwolves on Friday, 76ers on Sunday, and Dallas Mavericks next Tuesday before a massive showdown with the San Antonio Spurs next Thursday on TNT.

Injuries:

Reserve shooting guard Joe Harris is expected to miss two-to-three months after having surgery on his right foot.

Point guard Kyrie Irving is playing, but still recovering from a fracture kneecap he suffered in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Expect him to sit out of one game of back-to-backs for the remainder of the season.

Backup point guard Mo Williams has a partial tear in a ligament in his thumb, but is expected to play through it.
