Cavs Weekly: Cleveland Back To Winning Ways After Losing Streak

The Cleveland Cavaliers ran into their first losing streak two weeks ago, but bounced back with a vengeance, winning their last four games in a row. Better yet, the Cavaliers have gotten contributions from virtually every player during this streak, showing how the whole team has stepped up their level of play. Let's get you up to speed with the week that was and the week ahead with our Cavs Weekly update:

Last Week:
Cleveland had already snapped their losing streak on Monday with a convincing win over the Toronto Raptors, and they turned that into back-to-back wins on Wednesday with a 126-94 win over the New York Knicks. It was a statement game for LeBron James, who took offense to Knicks president Phil Jackson referring to LeBron's business associates as his "posse," and Cleveland certainly delivered. Tristan Thompson had his first 20-rebound performance of the season, LeBron scored 25 points, and the starters participated in the water bottle challenge...during the game!

After that, Cleveland dominated in back-to-back home wins over the Miami Heat and Charlotte Hornets on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Kevin Love put up 28 points and 15 rebounds in the 114-84 win over the Heat, while LeBron scored 44 points and dished out 10 assists in a 116-105 win over the Hornets.

What's Next?
The Cavs will end their homestand tonight, and will spend these two days in a back-to-back, home-and-home series with the Memphis Grizzlies today and Wednesday. After that, the Cavs have a sizable layoff before hosting the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday. Read more Cavs news in the Chat Sports iPhone and Android apps.

Injuries:
Forward Channing Frye has returned to the team after missing two games due to personal reasons. Guard J.R. Smith returned from a knee injury on Saturday against the Hornets.
