Tristan Thompson is deep in a dispute the Cleveland Cavaliers about a long-term contract, and will not attend LeBron James' voluntary team training camp in Miami, according to a report by the Northeast Ohio Media Group.
Thompson and the Cavs broke off contract talks in July, and Thompson's agent said his client would not return to Cleveland next offseason if he was forced to accept a one-year qualifying offer.
James has repeatedly stated that re-signing Thompson to a long-term deal is the Cavs top objective.
