What Time Does The NBA Draft Start?

The 2014 NBA Draft starts at 7:00pm EST on Thursday night, live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. You can catch all of it on ESPN.

Barring any trades, the Cleveland Cavs will make the first overall selection during Thursday's draft festivities. The Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, Orlando Magic, and Utah Jazz round out the top five.

Most NBA analysts are projecting Kansas standout Andrew Wiggins to be chosen with the #1 pick. Wiggins' size and unparallelled athleticism make him a surefire star in the eyes of many NBA teams' scouting departments.

If Wiggins somehow falls out of the top slot, Duke's Jabari Parker and Australian guard Dante Exum are top candidates to replace him atop the board. Parker's pure shooting ability and high basketball IQ have made him a highly-coveted prospect ever since he first set foot at Duke, while Exum's reportedly top-tier leadership capabilities and explosiveness make him the most intriguing relative unknown in this year's draft class.

Whoever gets picked first, the 2014 NBA Draft promises to be one of the most talked-about events of the year. Be sure to have your night freed up to catch your first glimpse at the future of the NBA.
