The 5 Most Memorable Cavs Games Of The 2014-15 Season

The Cleveland Cavaliers underwent one of the most scrutinized seasons in NBA history with the return of LeBron James, but they grabbed the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference and have advanced to the NBA Finals. Along the way, the Cavs have provided us with several memorable moments. Here are the top five from the season:

5) Oct. 31 - 114-108 OT win over the Chicago Bulls

After losing their home opener to the New York Knicks, Cleveland's "Big 3" picked up their first win of the season over the Bulls. This was a big statement at the time as the Bulls and Cavs were the two Eastern Conference favorites.

4) Feb. 26 - 110-99 win over the Golden State Warriors

This home victory over the Warriors was nothing more than just a good win at the time, but now that they're playing Golden State in the NBA Finals, the win is something they point to as a source of confidence.

3) Jan. 15 - 109-102 win over the Los Angeles Lakers

While the Cavs were supposed to beat the Lakers, this game snapped a six game losing streak and a stretch of 10 losses in 12 games for Cleveland. It also started the Cavs' 12-game winning streak, which turned their season around.

2) Mar. 12 - 128-125 OT win over the San Antonio Spurs

In perhaps their biggest statement win of the season, Cleveland overcame a 10-point deficit in the final three minutes to force overtime against the defending champs. Led by Kyrie Irving's 57 points, this game showed the Cavs had the ability to make a run at the title.

1) Jan. 16 - 126-121 win over the Los Angeles Clippers

Cleveland's win over Lakers in Los Angeles was nice, but this victory over the Clippers just one day later is what turned their season around. Both teams went back and forth the whole way, but the Cavs win over one of the best teams in the West helped them break out of their slump and find the rhythm that has carried them to the Finals.
