The Cleveland Cavs have already brought two of LeBron James' favorite Miami Heat teammates, Mike Miller and James Jones, into the fold.

After cutting their roster down to the league maximum of 15 on Saturday by waiving forward Shane Edwards, Cavs head coach David Blatt indicated that the roster's current construction should be in place on opening night against the New York Knicks.

"As of right now, yes, this is our roster,” Blatt said after practice on Saturday, via Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com.

Per McMenamin, "that of course means that one notable former Miami Heat teammate of James, Ray Allen, won’t be joining the Cavs in the next five days before the season starts."

The Cavs shot just 27.7 percent from the perimeter in the preseason, prompting speculation from many that the team would sign Allen prior to the season's opening game.

However, with 12 guaranteed contracts on the books, the Cavs aren't left with a lot of flexibility - unless they decide to get creative and cut one of their three non-guaranteed players and/or do something with one of those guaranteed deals.

Stay tuned.
