Charles Barkley thinks it's time for LeBron James to take his talents back to Cleveland.
Per ESPN.com, the popular TNT analyst championed a return for LeBron to his home state on Wednesday's "SVP and Rusillo Show" on ESPN Radio:
"I've always thought he was going to go back to Cleveland. Nobody dislikes LeBron. I think LeBron made a huge mistake with that 'Decision' crap. He's come back and since admitted that. That's the only thing people hold against LeBron."
"He's a great player, a great person. I hope he goes back to Cleveland. Those fans in Miami are not real fans, those fans in Cleveland are real fans. I've always hoped he would go back to Cleveland. That would be a great way to finish his career."
While the Cleveland Cavs may be a couple of years away from being a legitimate championship contender, the team has a trump card which could prove valuable in luring James back home - the #1 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.
Cleveland won the NBA Draft Lottery for the third time in the past four years, giving them a chance to pick up a franchise-level talent to potentially pair with James if he decides to return to where it all began.
